Fate walked up to a pair of double doors that had two knights clad in solid black armor standing in front of them. They were the dark paladins in service to Amara Sterling, the Shadow Monarch.

The Church of Divine Promises was very displeased with the fact that they could not control or manipulate their saintess, Amara Sterling. So they made a deal with a very shady demon and gave him Amara. But how can a final boss like Amara be beaten by a simple demon?

Amara quickly fought her way out of this trap set up by the church and the demon. But as she killed that powerful demon, he cursed her with powerful dark magic. Not to be confused with Ruby's shadow magic.

They are two very different kinds of magic. Amara's magic is simply evil magic that she took from the demon as he tried to curse her. But the price of gaining control of this dark magic was the almost complete destruction of her own body.
