how the heck does this have such a high rating? i mean yeah the writing quality is pretty decent, and the story has potential, but literally just in the first chapter alone there were numerous plot holes and giant leaps in logic, it's like the author was just too lazy to fact-check his fic with avatar source material and wrote the entire base of the plot line on a complete whim with no sound reasoning behind it.
Not enough korra fanfics out there and the ones that do exist aren’t finished. Author I checked it other stories and ur reliable. Can’t wait for the rest of the story. Also keep the harem small. Maybe korra and Asami only would be nice

5/5/3/4/2 mixed up steampunk with sci-fi other then that military operations are rarely as lax as shown so far are borderline incompetent with no backup even if MC did the raid right, improvement is a bit too fast and MC shouldn't know that he can bend other elements even if the way things played out they way described and even if he can it should be extremely hard for him to learn bending outside of fire given it is a small enough piece that nothing was affected while it might help him learn things like lava, lighting and varients I would say that make it so that it would be better to learn fire bending with minor abilities in other elements at best with a boost to variants.
Its a Great fanfic so far wich means not much at the moment because it only has 2 chapters, but it has a Great and awesome Concept. I Like it and will Watch how it goes. I recommend to give it a try. Mid It's not complete trash, but the writing style needs to be refined. I can definitely see this getting traction but I don't like how hollow the story feels. Plus it doesn't feel interesting to read 🤷🏽♂️ like he's an avatar, big whoop, although it had a nice backstory though. I would say. It's more a 3.9 - 4.2. aka amateur writing.

god, this fanfic just doesn't get it, just like netflix's adaptation it b*stardizes the world so much. boring system trope, annoying 'mc is avatar' trope, weird technology insert for the author's convenience... at least the update is pretty consistent, and the writing's pretty decent, with some cringy phrases here and there... i feel like avatar fanfics are cursed man, i only found one that is somewhat decent.

I mean writing is really good but the character and design and system is pretty boring for some fans yeah everything is kinda forced a lot of other Powers are really bad explained. so yeah I mean He is an avatar? just because is grandfather fought aang and got a tiny part of raava ... bro really?

Legend of Korra world is set in a period akin to our industrial revolution, but in this fic there are some sci-fi tecnologies like holograms, which doesn't make sense, since a big part of canon is based on the invention of much more basic tecnologies like planes or the first camera. Moreover MC has a part of raava inside of him because his grandfather touched aang during the 100 hundred years. So practically MC has become a second avatar because of that and can bend more elements. I don't like the chenges author did to the story and i never liked the second avatar development either.
