With a goal in mind, Alex started to make his way toward the city. Brontes strided alongside him with a combination of somewhat carefree and cautious steps. He was essentially a walking oxymoron of emotion. The Journey wasn't far by Alex's standards, about 15,000 kilometres away from his current position, and thanks to his speed, it would only take a couple minutes at best to get there.
There wasn't even any point in even considering whether Brontes could do it or not. Alex had no doubt that he could probably make his way over there in an instant if he wanted to. After all, he was even more powerful than Principal Farnes, and if Farnes could travel between Earth and Mars in an instant, without being able to be detected by Alex's spatial detection at all, then Brontes could probably achieve much greater feats.
