Kai had returned to his room after listening to the conversation between the caretakers, now with new information and a new ability as well as some EXP to use.
He quickly processed the information, thinking of various scenarios that could occur in the future, his insight of his future life in this orphanage was getting more and more clear, well, as a ninja from the Nara clan.
Kai knew what he was doing was something no other infant could do, he was 3 months old for fucks sake. It was obvious that he would be recognized as a prodigy sooner or later and catch the eyes of the elders of the Nara clan, the ones who ran this orphanage.
Afterall, the reason purpose of this orphanage was to create loyal powerful Nara ninja prospects and to make the rest do the lesser work and fuel the Nara clan and Konoha economy.
You can never regret getting more loyal soldiers and workers.
Sumi said that the elders were interested and that even the clan head, which is Shikaku, was also interested in me.
I was getting quite the attention from everyone around, but well, they needed to get everything they could, after all, the village was still in a weak and fragile stage because of the nine tails which just happened over a month ago and they needed everything they could get their hands on.
I was probably gonna be moved from the orphanage when I was old enough and get help from the clan members in Shinobi training after the matrons and people around me brain washed me into becoming intent to become a Shinobi of Konoha.
After all, the mind of a child is also the most pure but the most corruptible as well.
Although he would have become a Shinobi regardless of their brainwashing, Why?

Not only were Shinobi given much more facilities than regular Citizens. Not only that, Shinobi had access to many things such as Information that was usually blocked from general populace and also had access to travelling free of restraint, in and out of the village and also access to a higher income than regular citizens aswell as access to restricted areas.
The power part was pretty self-explanatory.
And being a Shinobi ensured that you would be in contact with many powerful people, especially the Third and Reigning Hokage, Sarutobi Hiruzen.
It was clear that he had only one career option and that was being a Shinobi.
But he had to be quick, he only had 13 years left before Orochimaru kills the Kazekage and The Sound and The Sand Village invade Konoha which would result in the death of Hiruzen which would once again put Konoha in a soft state and Tsunade's ascent to the seat of Hokage would change many things as well.
And there wasn't much a 3 month old could do.
Unless you are named Kai Nara, Of course.

(Don't worry, MC won't be broken and would not completely dwarf other characters but he will be pretty strong and will be pretty stronger than . I will introduce something new when he gets to level 15 up until than the upgrades from the individual level ups would be small and so would be the exp rewards)

I thought about how the spying ability would affect my current condition and decided to invest the remaining exp into it.
Information gathering was a key part of a Shinobi's abilities and his foreseeable plans.

With that, he slowly but surely stood wobbling on his two and took a step and then another and then....

Another kid approached him, it was a girl, her name was Christy. She was 5 months older than him.
She tried to pat him and then tried to drag him with her to play with her and her horse toy.
Of course, I slapped her to make her let go of me so i could continue my training.
My slap made her cry and she started crying loudly, my response to that was another slap which shut her up.
Unfortunately Kirin had rushed in to see what happened and saw me slapping her and quickly rushed over and picked up Christy.
She consoled Christy trying to make her stop crying after she saw Kirin come back, fortunately she had yet to learn to speak so she couldn't tell Kirin how k slapped her twice.
Kirin looked at me and started blabbing about random things which I didn't care about and zoned her out.
Women.
There was another kid beside me who was looking at me with stars in his eyes.
Interesting, it seems this kid has some sort of dojutsu. I will look into it later.
I simply got up like the Alpha i am and again started to continue practising to walk.
The grind never stops.

In the last three weeks, through daily quests which had changed and now gave me 20 EXP for taking 100 Steps, I had garnered a total of 420 EXP.
One thing I had learnt this past week was that all of my abilities would gain exp by themselves if I continued to use Or practice with them as shown by how my [Stealth: Spying] had grown to level 5 after I had spied on the matrons everyday looking for any valuable information.
Now, I was nearly 4 Months old and Guess What? Bon Appetit Bitch! I mastered the much coveted and need ability to Walk.
I could now walk properly, although running was a different case, I could run but properly and would fall occasionally and wobble alot.
Nothing that can't be corrected in two weeks.
And oh, I started talking a little bit. Not much, but enough for everyone to be shocked and start to compare me to the famous prodigy, Hatake Kakashi.
Turns out that the one eyed Scarecrow had started walking earlier than me, by a grand total of one week.
Well, nothing the system didn't make up for and Kakashi had the genes of Sakumo and his training aswell.
Well time to complete my daily quest-

I got and stood up and started walking towards the door of our room.
I quickly left the room and headed towards the exit, eventually exiting the building and entering the garden.
I slowly but surely made my way to the back of the house where the ninja and a caretaker were teaching the kids about various things about shinobi arts mostly theoretical.
I went to the sidelines and sat down, imitating the kids on Koutube which my mom thought were cute.
No one suspected a cute little baby prodigy.
The kids smilled and the girls giggled at my "cuteness" And the ninja instructor and the caretaker just laughed and continued on with their lesson.
I continued watching them and absorbed every bit of info.

They had continued learning about various things in the two hours that followed, although most of them were intent on observing me getting scolded by the caretaker many times.
All of them were surprised by my patience and attention.
Once the lecture ended, The caretaker came up to me and picked me up and took me to my room.
The two hours were enough to level my Observation skill to level 3.
