Currently, still lying down on the bed, Maroshi remembers the end of his conversation with his father and brother.

'Until then she is not permitted to leave the castle!'
Back to the present, Maroshi brings his hand to his head.

Looking at it, he can't help but crack a smile thinking her behavior to be really cute.
Lifting his hand with his palm upwards he uses his ability to shape the water and construct figures based on the books she liked to see with their mother.
'Before gaining my memories I used to do this for her. It was all I could do with my ability not fully unlocked. She must be scared after seeing her brother's gentle ability suddenly turn into a murderous rain of weapons'.

Seeing it immediately makes her burst into tears and launch herself like a bullet in his direction.

Hearing her brother teasing and compliment quickly turns her face red.
She timidly starts, "M-Mother said that we shouldn't bear hatred against the killer so I didn't want brother to make her sad", she finishes looking at him hesitantly.
He then waves his hand both in dismissal and to make more water figures to calm her down.
"Don't worry, I am not mad at you for you doing what you did."
'Now that I know everything, killing that guy doesn't matter at all. The source of the problem is Hody and the fish-man district…I will still honor mother's death wish…he just needs to be alive right?
