Chapter 230: Xion's Wake Up Call

Ren sat hunched over his desk, staring at the digital blueprint hovering on his screen. He was lost in its creation, adding the tiny details he hadn't initially planned.

His fingers moved fluidly over the control panel, adjusting the placement of a small lake behind the house which somehow gave him a slight headache.

He had changed the place three times, but he still was not satisfied with any of the options.

"Boss, the defence systems are ready for your review," Ethen called from across the room, his head peeking at him through the glass wall between his office and the rest of the working area.

Normally Ren would keep it that way. It was easy to look at the progress. Or, he would tap on the control panel to make the glass walls turn into concrete ones for his privacy.

Ren blinked, dragged from the peaceful world he had been creating.

He glanced at the mecha schematics on the secondary screen, sent by Ethen.
