Chapter 226: "How Should I Ask My Crush For A Date?"

Barely had Ren stepped out of the hall when he accidentally slipped over the candy wrapper.

Ren stumbled and felt himself plummeting toward the floor. In an instant his eyes shut closed as he braced for the impact, fully expecting the jarring pain. However, the imaginary kissing on the floor with his butt never happened.

Instead, he found himself enveloped in an unexpectedly soft embrace.

Slowly, Ren opened his eyes, blinking at the vivid color that greeted him, a deep, mesmerizing shade of red, rich and velvety.

"Pretty..." Ren murmured in a daze, the word slipping out before he could catch it.

A low, amused chuckle rumbled from the chest of the man holding him. The sound sent a shiver through Ren, snapping him out of his dazed state. Heat rushed to his face as he realized whose arms he had fallen into.

"Ah, sorry. I-I slipped," Ren stammered, awkwardly laughing as he scrambled to stand upright, his cheeks flushing a light pink
