Chapter 222: Ren's Team

Ren returned from the military academy with a sigh of relief. The day had been filled with awkward introductions, far too many stares, and endless small talk. 

He was never tired from all the work, but the social talk was a different thing. He felt his battery draining at rapid pace. Thank fully Xion was with him the entire time, or he might have directly gone to take a nap from all the exhaustion he might have felt.

There were many thoughts running in his mind.

This time, his brain was buzzing, not from the interaction, but from the ideas swirling about his new mecha design. 

The ride was silent that gave him enough time to organize his ideas.

As soon as he entered his office, the familiar smell of coffee, scattered designs floating in the air, and the comforting hum of his optical brain brought a smile to his face. It was time to work.
