Chapter 155: Two Official Papers- Which One to Chose?
Ren placed the adoption paper on the table. Holding the legal guardian form, he kept looking at the words printed on it.
"I, Griffin Altair Yarx, will be the sole legal guardian of Dorion Vitakis until he becomes an adult..."
Ren felt Terim shift beside him, sitting up straight. The room was silent, save for the sound of their breathing filling the space. His voice broke the silence.
"What if your future partner won't like me?" he asked, his eyes still glued to the papers. He silently refused to see any negative emotion on Griffin's face who was sitting in front of him.
"It will never happen," Griffin replied, his voice ever so gentle.
"I don't have any plans to get married. Even if there is someone, and that person does not like you, then he is not the one I could really fall for."
Ren's fingers clenched on the paper. "What if you find me troublesome? What if you won't want me anymore? What if you think I am a harbinger of bad luck?"
