Chapter 124: Another Day Well Spent

Ren did not step out of the car. The crowd of students leaving the academy classes was enough to tell him that he might be a little bit late. 

The soundproof windows saved his ears from the chatting noises spreading all around him. 

The opening and closing lips of the people left him wondering exactly what they were all talking about.

He leaned back in his seat, eyes drifting over the scene outside. The students moved in clusters, some laughing, others engaged in animated discussions. His mind wandered to his school time. 

The classroom's mundane chatter and playful banter had been a distant memory to him. After all, his high school experience had been cut short from a few years to just a few months. 

He was selected by the renowned professor and hence found himself directly entering the university after completing his first year in high school.
