Chapter 119: God is Not Good

That strong figure forced Ren to look at his own body. Yup, he was still the same thin male hiding behind a long robe.

"Is it late to take his words back," Ren mused.

However, the sudden reply made him alert because it seemed that he ended up blurting his thoughts out loud!

"Yes, it is too late to take back your words, Your Excellency," a smirk crept onto Kade's chiseled face as he finally moved forward.

Ren thought that the male would sit at the low wooden table neatly placed at the center of the living room. Never in his wildest dreams could he have anticipated what was about to happen next.

Kade strode across the room with confident, deliberate steps, closing the distance between them. Gone was his previous humble attitude replaced by his true, monarchic nature. 

His presence was commanding, almost suffocating and Ren felt his heart rate spike as Kade came closer.
