Ren realized that he had made a tiny mistake that would delay his enjoyment of the dumplings: he forgot to make the dough earlier. Clicking his tongue at his forgetfulness, he picked another bowl to prepare the dough.
"Guess we will have to wait a bit longer," he muttered to himself, reaching for the flour.
The cub, ever eager, jumped from one side to another to get a good look at what Ren was doing. Its excitement was palpable, and Ren could not help but smile at the little ball of energy.
Ren, as the very good person he was, kept moving his body to hide the bowl from the eager eyes. The frustrated cub suddenly disappeared from the kitchen.
Ren stopped kneading the dough and turned around, scanning the shelves and the refrigerator, but the cub was nowhere to be found.
He wondered if his antics had angered the cub. Just as he was thinking about apologizing to his adorable system, he turned around and nearly had a heart attack!
