Kade's black spacecraft landed smoothly in the secluded clearing near a small house. The matte-black ship, hard to spot in the night sky, contrasted sharply with the surrounding greenery illuminated by the night lights.

As the door hissed open, Kade stepped out, the cool evening air wrapping around him like a familiar embrace.
