Ren swallowed the bland liquid the doctor handed him, the taste lingering unpleasantly as he changed into the specialized suit needed for the life cabin. A thick tube was gently inserted into his mouth to help him breathe. Then, he was lowered into a glass chamber filled with a mysterious dark blue liquid.

As the effects of the tasteless medicine took hold, Ren drifted into a deep sleep.

The soothing darkness was abruptly interrupted by the insistent beeping of the machinery in the room. Groggy, he emerged from the cabin, the dark blue liquid cascading off him as he wiped himself dry and changed back into his clothes.
