Qin Huo was busy in the dining room, preparing to bring dinner upstairs.
Upon hearing approaching footsteps, he turned around and frowned, "Little Jin, why did you come downstairs? It's too much exertion for your body."
"We have an elevator, just a few steps. No need for me to climb the stairs," Lan Jin held the hand of the little one and entered the dining room.
"Let's eat here."
She had spent nearly two days upstairs, although mostly in a daze, but it was enough.
Qin Sui'an took a few steps forward, forcefully pulling out a dining chair.
"Grandma, sit here!"
Qin Huo's intended action was preempted by her, and he smiled, saying, "How did you manage to complete my 'task' before me, Ann?"
Lan Jin walked over and sat down.
"Who asked you to be slow?"
Qin Sui'an didn't leave, climbing onto the adjacent chair, assuming a serious expression as if to supervise his grandmother's meal.
Lan Jin was melted by her cuteness, and a joyful smile remained on her face.
