Oriana's first time with Adric
"Just one thing, don't look at my body. It's hideous," these were Oriana's words, but her heart was trembling with fear. She wasn't sure if she was doing the right thing. But she was scared, tired, and defeated. Her family had let her out in the wild to be devoured alive, giving her away to someone from another kingdom.
What had she ever done wrong? All she wanted was to love and be loved, accepted for who she was, allowed to be herself. How was that so difficult? Couldn't she catch a break for just one day? And even when she had left her family and found help from an unexpected place, life still came to torment her and make her feel vulnerable, only for her to be saved by a man she didn't want to see again.
Being weak was one thing, but being weak in front of an enemy was a different level of low. And that was Oriana's state: shame, embarrassment. She wanted to quench all of that and most of all, anger. She was angry.
