Chapter 24: SENSE OF PEACE

The girl was out of breath, her face flushed as she held out a small camera. "I saw everything." Her voice trembled as she spoke. "I collected this from a car parked nearby and I saw the whole thing."

Detective Clark took the camera from her, his brow furrowed. "Can you tell us what you saw?" He asked.

The girl nodded, her eyes wide. "I saw the young man try to grab the woman."

The young man's face turned red with anger. "Jessica, what do you think you're doing?"

Jessica stood her ground, her chin held high. "Reporting you to the police."
