I watched in amusement as Zack froze at the spot upon sighting me. "The cat's got your tongue?" As I walked towards him, I asked with a scoff. "I ermm...uhmm..good evening." He stuttered, bowing slightly. His bow was a feeble attempt at respect, but it reeked of fear.

"I didn't know Zack could be this terrified upon seeing me." I mocked in hush tunes, so only he could hear me.

"What if you met my dad?" I asked again, mockery evident in my voice. I raised my head a little. "Tchh..not very presentable." I said, pointing at his face. And that seemed to embarrass him more.

"What did you do with my guards?" He asked, summoning courage.

"Well, I gave the poor ones a break; as we draw nearer to the day, we need stronger, more agile, and well-fed guards on duty, don't you think?"
