Chapter 95: The Warrior of the Sun

Zero and Kai walked through the open indentation in the wall and ascended the stairs. With each step it felt like the temperature spiked another 5 degrees.

Without these cloaks this would be unbearable. Hopefully they can take a bit more.., Zero thought as he could feel his skin starting to crack from how dry it was. They had both stopped producing sweat long ago which definitely wasn't a good thing.

Ripples could be seen forming in the air from just how intense the heat was getting. 

"It's like...walking towards the sun..." Kai groaned out. Zero's lips were so dry that he didn't want to risk responding in fear the skin would just rip right open.
