Chapter 228: Arifureta (8)

~Ehit POV~

[The Sanctuary]

An ethereal heavenly place where magic was rich and reality my bitch. Life here was perfect and I could be and have anything I wanted.

Ah~ Being the God of this world is the best!

To think I was a simple wizard harnessing the [Universe Laws] escaping my old world with my former Liberators. Former allies. Weak. Pathetic. With only my body destroyed and my soul in tatters.

I remember the relief that washed over me when my soul found purchase in a land such as this, so vibrant, so rich in magic… and so full of underdeveloped savages for me to use as I see fit.

Even without my body, just a soul held together by magic and sheer unadulterated power, I had dominated them all. Ants. That's what they were.

And I'm their leader, their king, and soon a living GOD!

Petty creatures worshiped me, lived and died at my whims, toys to entertain me with. This land was filled with many things that I took to satisfy my greed.

Pleasure, greed, money, power, woman, and unstoppable. I did what I wanted, and no one stopped me. Taking and forcing any beautiful woman to be my bitch raped in front of her loved ones and family all doing nothing as I owned her like the bitch animal she was.

Ah… those were the good times for when I had a body. And hearing the news of the latest events occurring who could have imagined this tide of fortune?

And then like a treasure on his lap, this intruder had come into this world with strange talents and even stranger artifacts. I believe it now.

I'm destined for greatness. Having ALL my apostles at the ready to attack the Sea of Trees knowing they can't go near the fog didn't mean I'd allow that intruder to escape.

The 'Hero' summoned to this world completed all the Labyrinths of my former Liberator's dungeons and one even I didn't know about like the Divine Mountain. He completed it all showing off his abilities.

And there was another person with him. A Vampire a prodigy like no other appeared witnessing her for a few moments slaying my forces.

She's an ideal vassal for me to take over. I waited to allow her to obtain the 7 Ancient Magic since I saw her learn more with his help. But the intruder's body is the ideal host for me to possess as well if it wasn't for… that thing.

His soul. If it could be called that is wrong in every sense of the word. Even with my [Spirit Magic] manipulating the soul whatever Magic that comes to it simply dies. But it just makes it all the worthwhile reward no?

I'm destined for greatness and glory above all as I spoke cackling to myself seeing my loyal Apostles search the world of Tortus in a proud tone, "And once that pesky little extradimensional intruder is dealt with… once those magical artifacts of his are mine I will conquer world after world till all the worlds are under my dominion!"

I could imagine it now. With the intruder's body in my possession, with a body worthy of my great power I could finally be free to climb greater heights –

Suddenly a voice interrupted my thoughts startling me in a calm tone as if the person was bored, "I'd say you picked a really poor timing for a supervillain monologue mongrel."

I turned around to see the intruder startling me but I kept my composure unfitting to a God to be startled by this ant as he rambles in a disinterested tone, "… but given that this is probably the plot's doing, I can't blame you for that. The hero entering the villain's chambers as he is making his villainous speech is pretty cliché. For everything else, however…"

*Swf*

*Swf*

The intruder produced multiple golden ripples assembling portals as I raised an eye scoffing at him in an arrogant tone, "To have come so far into my realm, don't expect to leave alive. You fool!!"

*SHIII*

Using my [Divine Wrath] the most powerful offensive light magic in existence that exemplified my wrath and most powerful offensive spell in the world. It unleashes a bombardment of annihilating light to destroy the user's enemies.

Shooting the most powerful light magic in existence he merely stood his ground raising his hand and shooting his pathetic rainbow-colored light attack in a bored tone, "Come on man give me something challenging here? You're boring me at this rate."

*SHIIIII*

*PEW*

If I had eyes, I would've widened in shock seeing a rainbow-colored light clash against my ultimate attack, and… it's beating my own in the clash shocking me greatly. No, I'll get his damn body if – Ack!

*Klank*

*Klank*

Suddenly something wrapped around my limbs grumbling in annoyance as I tried to break them off. But to my genuine surprise, these chains continue to wrap me. Tightening as I groaned in pain being a soul.

*KLANK*

Ack!! I can feel them digging deeper into my very being as these blasted chains bind me tighter continuously making it hard for me to use my Ancient Magic. What is this blasted artifact his using against me?!!

Trying to use [Spatial Magic] to teleport away I found out I couldn't move. No. Rather the very space that I'm bound to with these chains even binding space around itself making my Ancient Magic the powers of the [Universe Laws] completely useless and nullified – ack!!

*CRACK*

My concern immediately skyrocketed as I felt my very soul crack as my form twisted and turned by this constricting chain. That was when the intruder laughed at my predicament in an amused tone, "… those [Chains of Heaven] are the very embodiment concept of 'reigning over the gods.' Hahaha! The perfect Anti-Divine weapon against a God that the strength and durability of the chain grows stronger with the target having higher Divinity."

Understanding what he meant fear soon filled me realizing what this meant. If the concept of 'reigning over the gods' is true then I'm utterly fucked!!!

My very being of a soul frankly looked to escape but those multiple portals appeared in all directions. And what's worse every single one of them contained immersive magical power potent mana.

Soon I spotted a shadow cast upon me. A chill ran down my spine as I looked up to see the intruder, looming over me with a malicious grin that filled with the promise of my demise to this abomination.

There was nothing left in this world, but his malicious grin directed towards me. Soon enough multiple shadowy hands began to emerge from his back each one more ominous than the last began digging into my very soul violating my being.

It felt like he was tearing me apart. I was ripped apart as he grinned sadistically my eyes saw multiple portals opening around Hortus. They bore witness to their god being ripped apart as he boasted in a proud tone, "Tell me citizens of Hortus!!! The being you summoned has come and shown this puny bitch god his place!!! The God named Ehit has come to an end!!!"

And then those shadowy hands turned into monstrous dragons and another mythological beast as they began to devour me entirely as I screamed horrifically pleading for my life to be torn apart being bound by the chains made me powerless to stop my death.

The only thing I saw next was complete and utter darkness as I got eaten alive by the maws of a dragon only listening to one thing before darkness takes me…

~Mash B. POV~

[The Sanctuary]

After killing Ehit using my Authority and taking everything from him I opened up portals to show the whole world of Hortus that their God is dead. And with a snap of my fingers...

*Snap*

*THUD*

All the Apostles of Ehit became mine to command. Using my Authority of Envy, [Overzealous Thief] I had taken Ehit Authority to command his Apostles. When I killed Ehit their change of Master using [Overwrite] and [Evolution Magic] I manipulated their change in master to me.

All of Ehit's apostles appear identically as a beautiful woman with long silver hair and clear blue eyes. They have retractible silver-feathered wings. Their heart is a special crystal that gives them access to unlimited reserves of mana. An apostle's core, and the flesh surrounding it, was much tougher than the rest of their body.

They have no souls or emotions and are only focused on carrying out their master's commands. Apostles can develop emotions during their fights, but they don't realize it that they developed emotions. Due to them being an artificial race, they could feel their own emotions but have no concept of it. They are biologically immortal and can only be killed if their head or heart is destroyed.

Apostles are a race of artificial beings from Tortus that were created by the pseudo-god Ehit. Their function was to monitor their creator's game board (Tortus) and ensure that all of the pieces (people) behaved accordingly. They were based on the appearance of one of Ehit's former companions.

As they were created by the false god Ehit, apostles were granted a variety of physical enhancements and magic abilities to enable them to carry out their master's will unimpeded.

They're the strongest race in Tortus, with their abilities surpassing those of dragonmen and vampires, two races that were feared due to their might. They were even capable of using [Limit Break], which temporarily raised their stats by three times.

*Rmbl*

*Rmbl*

With Ehit dead and no one to stabilize The Sanctuary, it began to break apart. If I don't do something about this it will destroy Hortus if I left this alone.

*Snap*

Snapping my fingers using [Gravity Magic] to cause the sanctuary to implode on itself and prevent it from destroying Tortus and killing off the Apostles in the process. They may have no souls but no way I'm leaving the chance they would seek revenge.

Turning my back I left this place dealing with Hortus itself. When I go there I'll erase everyone's memories manipulating their minds using [Evolution Magic] to change their information.

Doing that will force everyone to be just and punish evildoers as well as erase their magic to teleport people from outside their world to here. The last thing I want is someone isekaing some poor bastard into this world to have them fight me.

That's the last thing I need from this world seeking revenge. And in the process erase their memories of me interfering thinking everything was normal, and Ehit was killed only to realize the brainwashing had finally worn off how they fucked themselves over.

And pin the blame on the Church of Ehit. And erasure of any rapists, slavers, and criminals that have done any crime to punish themselves.

My plan isn't perfect but I'm not gonna spend that much time cleaning this world up. I already spent enough time in this world as is. This is me being kind enough to care they fixed their fucked-up world.

After this my plan on creating a key to take me back to my world. But I'm gonna need an infinite Mana supply to fuel the key is something I'm gonna investigate or find an infinite power source that's multi-versatile. Or sci-fi GPS to fine my world...

*RMBL*

Oh right, a place that's about to implode. Welp time to get out of here!
