A thick, gray fog had started to envelop Shamrock Peak, forming a dome-shaped barrier around the entire mountain.

The mist was dense, almost tangible, and seemed to pulse with an eerie, inexplicable energy.

This was the primary barrier of the Devil's Den, a natural formation created by the demon tree Aksai had cultivated. It was enough to intimidate anyone even when Aksai had not activated the isolation barrier.

Even without his use of the Devil's Den, the gray fog was enough to turn any mortal nervous.
