The three old men noticed Li Jun step into the office, and their eyes fell upon him with indistinct expressions. Li Zhang didn't look upset despite his grandson now being crippled. Although Li Jun suspected that he had already hired doctors and pill refiners to help him recover. 

Unlike the others, Shen Tai remained sitting behind his desk reading a parchment.

Li Jun had expected someone to shout at him upon entering. However, everyone seemed to be calm, eerily so.

"I have brought him, father," Shen Yun announced, but her father didn't say anything immediately. Instead, Master Shen stepped forward and put his hand on Li Jun's shoulder.

"You did the right thing. Don't worry, you're not in trouble." He said reassuringly, but he seemed nervous about what was going to come of the situation. 

"If they dare to launch an attack on the city, my pill hall will no longer do business with the Fan family merchants." Grandmaster Mao announced.
