Chapter 117: An alpha's rut

Azrael stood from the bed. But his vision wriggled and the floor seemed like tripping him. He tried to walk straight, but his body fell after just a single step. He fell hard to the floor and slowly, his eyelids were getting heavier and heavier until they finally succeeded in putting him to sleep again.

A few hours later, the warm feeling of something hitting his face stirred him from sleep. His half-lidded opened eyes received glares from the glass wall.

Azrael shut his eyes tightly once more, then he turned his head to the other side where the sun didn't hit his vision. Slowly, he opened them again and adjusted them to the bright surroundings.

However, what greeted his eyes was the sleeping face of a woman.

Azrael abruptly sat up, the cover slipping on his chest revealing his naked body. Because of his movement, he unintentionally yanked the sheet from Elise as well, displaying her naked upper body filled with hickeys.
