It had been a few days since the so-called 'wedding of the century', but the groom was alone in his balcony, smoking an expensive tobacco. 

Thaddeus had been a health freak since young, and he had never touched a smoke except from when his father taught him for socialization. 

So anyone who would see this would be surprised, including his personal butler who had served him his whole life. Harold was now standing by the door, waiting to report the latest finds.

Harold felt incredibly guilty as he saw this. If he hadn't left, perhaps Miss Naia—

Thaddeus didn't acknowledge him immediately as he looked at his phone. He was waiting for calls from his investigators, but right now it was just exploding from calls from his mother and Victoire. He sighed and ignored it, looking at the old man.

"Where's Elias?" He asked, narrowing his eyes.

"According to our investigation, he had left the country a day before your wedding."
