Chapter 66: Vagrants?

While Thaddeus was doing his best to find his woman, Naia was taken about a hundred kilometers away in another port town. 

Elias had wanted to take her to the adjacent one where he had a property in, but he didn't just in case Thaddeus was in on them.

From what he got from Victoire, Thaddeus was definitely looking for Naia, and was even zoning in on Victoire herself. 

Or rather, Thaddeus misappropriated the resources of the company to quietly investigate the location of his lover, and also to inappropriately investigate families no weaker than his. 

He could imagine how this'd blow up on Thaddeus' face. Hopefully soon, so he could be busy with that and leave his Naia alone. 

Anyway, in the meantime, they could only go around like nomads, with his family claiming he went abroad for a trip in case he was looked for. 

Not that he minded, of course. To be honest, 'living on the run' like this—with Naia—felt… exciting.
