Vinnandra must have been so lost in her head that she didn't hear the music, nor did she notice the few people on the dance floor, having the time of their life as they swerved their body to the sound of the music.

"The name of this game is fifty questions." Xylan said, and then twirled her dangerously to the beat of the resonating traditional drum.

At the end of the twirl, Vinn found herself in his arms. Without actually trying to, she noticed that the space where he formerly stood out was now empty.

He was gone, and so was Zaren.
