Chapter 167: First Final Flight

Vinnandra laughed until her stomach hurt so much, and she actually feared she would fall off Zalreth.

It was too much, Xander was simply being too much.

"Ready for the fire twirl yet?" Xander screamed as the wind whipped past them. He was mischievous, and Vinnandra was only realizing the extent then as they were flying to Brienda's fortress.

They had done about three air twirls Vinn never knew existed. Each of them had left her out of breath, deliciously gasping for air, and had adrenaline pumping through her veins.

She was sure that at point, her blood was no longer red. Perhaps they were the color of the wind. And while Astrid seemed perfectly content with entertaining Xander's request for twirls, Zalreth felt like such twirls were an insult to her standing.

At least Vinn figured that much by the creature's lack of enthusiasm and the manner in which she reluctantly did the twirls.
