Chapter 148: Final Day Of The Hunt

"Dangle Zalreth at them?" Vinn asked, not nearly as appalled at the suggestion as Zalreth herself was considering by how she growled, shooting Ryker a dirty look that would have otherwise incinerated them if it they were in a different situation.

Ryker remains unfazed by it. While Zalreth was indeed a legendary dragon, Ryker's ugly, menancing dragon, Bella, wasn't exactly a small one either. From the dragon's terrifying look and the strange colour of its eyes, it was obvious he shared blood with the dragon of origin.

"The only reason is to attract them. Considering our numbers you don't truly think we are going to give out your beloved Zalreth to be witches cannon fodder?" Ryker responded to Vinn as he caressed an invisible mustache, his expression serious.

"I do not believe that will work." Vinn protested, not because she found the idea absurd but because she truly didn't believe it would work.

"Why do you say that?" Ryker asked.
