Chapter 30: The First Shot

To say that he was expecting something like this to happen, Astor would be lying. Ren had always been someone undefeated in his eyes, powerful, above everyone else. The kind of person that could make you freeze with just one stare so for him to be asking for help almost felt as if there was something wrong with the world. 

As he sat in the back of the car, his feet were moving constantly, his anxiety getting the better of him. He didn't know about what he should worry the most, himself or Ren? He did not even think he would have to participate in something like this so soon, he was inexperienced and scared but at the same time the thought of the Alpha being in danger, needing them was enough to overcome everything else. In the end, he did worry about him more than his own self. He thought of him and hoped for him to be alright.
