Chapter 245: To the Great Divine Schools

They had an icy blue shade for me, an onyx-dark one for Bing Hei, and a fiery red one for Jong. I wasn't sure what color to go with for Jue Zhu's--my first thought was clear, but apparently clear monster crystal only came from Diamond Gemstone Tortoises, and their armor crystal was better than normal, being even more durable and with much less weight of normal. In the end, I excused myself for a minute and asked Jue Zhu what his favorite color was over the chat. Turned out it was green. 

I didn't say why, of course. I had considered asking them each to chip in 60,000 Spirit Stones, but these places were rather too elite to take kindly to that kind of pooling. I didn't want to give the impression I could only afford this with the others helping me. At most, I'd ask them to as a favor after the fact. Jue Zhu at least would probably even go for it, even if Bing Hei certainly wouldn't.
