Chapter 186: Spiritual Beast Garuda

I stood in the exact same spot where the last trial had ended. At first, I thought it was picking up exactly where it left off too. The people who were at the north gate of the city were different, though. "Your weapon is prepared, I trust." From where the speaker was standing, in relation to the aide who had given me the reward in the first trial involving this place, I figured this was the lord of the city.

"Yes, I'm prepared."

"Then go swiftly and surely. I will reward you handsomely if you are successful in slaying the Garuda."

Slaying the Garuda…I guess I figured this would happen sooner or later. I just hope my new weapon is enough to harm it.

"Here are the remaining Earth-Sky pills for your journey," said the aid. The tiny pouch he handed me contained four of them, enough for 2 hours. "We all wish you success, brave warrior."
