Chapter 126: 125

When Cedric took a step towards her, a group of soldiers coming from the direction of the residence stepped in between Adelina and Cedric and blocked him. Not knowing who belonged to which group, Adelina could not grasp what was going on. Meanwhile, one of the soldiers began to approach her.

"The Master commanded us to escort you, Mistress. Everyone else is fine, so we will now bring you back to the residence."

"How dare you block my way?!"

Cedric yelled as the men in black unsheathed their swords at the soldiers. In such an explosive situation, Cedric stared at Adelina. 

He wasn't sure what kinds of suffering she had experienced, but in the few years he hadn't seen her, she had grown much thinner. Now that he had received the Emperor's permission, he was going to bring her back no matter what.

He was now only going to let her see the good things in life. He was going to make sure she was treasured. Cedric now had the power to do so.
