Ethan was telling her that he was nervous just as much as she was. Ethan might have said it to make her feel more relaxed, but it still managed to calm her nerves.

It wasn't that she didn't feel scared. But seeing as how Ethan was opening his heart to her, she wanted to open up her heart to him as well.

Adelina wrapped her hand around Ethan's cheek and drew closer to him.

Her trembling lips lightly brushed against his. Her timid touch made his last strand of reason quiver precariously. As she pulled back, Ethan quickly grabbed her and locked her within his embrace.

The thin skirt of her nightgown was taken off by Ethan's hand.

Adelina bit her lips as her naked body was exposed to the soft candlelight. She was even embarrassed to show her body to Mona and took her baths alone.

"Husband, the light…"

She cautiously brought up the light. But when she felt the feverish breath on her shoulder, she caught her breath.
