Chapter 39: The Lady In Black, Part Twenty-Four

{Zenith}

"That's all," Julia said on the phone. "I'll keep looking for more stuff." 

"Thanks again. I'll head out with the guild on a dungeon run tomorrow."

"Sounds good. Let me know if you want to do anything," Julia replied before hanging up. She'd just sent Zenith a few tidbits of information she'd gleaned about the Blades of the Church.

That guild was surprisingly easy to reach out to. 

[Question is, will they be willing to help?] 

Suddenly, Emi made a grand entrance into Zenith's apartment, collapsing dramatically onto the couch.

She let out an exaggerated groan, expressing the tension she had been feeling just moments ago.

"What's gotten you all worked up now?" Zenith inquired, her attention shifting from the data on her screen to Emi's theatrics.

Emi propped herself up on one elbow, her expression a mix of exhaustion and excitement.

"I was out scouting the Bonecrushers' new hideout," she declared dramatically.
