Chapter 78: Chapter 78: Big Heart

"Outpost? Is SF's defense really that tight?"

Nagant revolver, seated in the passenger seat, perked up at Renault's remark, straightening her posture and craning her neck to peer ahead.

Over the past month, Renault had outfitted most of the dolls with new bodies, and Nagant revolver was no exception. However, this time, Nagant revolver opted to maintain the same height as M1911, foregoing the usual request for increased height. After all, a taller stature meant added weight, and judging by the density of the materials Renault used, a body standing at 1.7 meters would easily surpass three hundred kilograms!

Moreover, Nagant revolver had found the previous tall frame somewhat awkward, and with no tall dolls under the commander's command and no incessant nagging about height, there was no need to insist on increasing weight for the sake of height.

Huh! With her chest size now matching M1911's, there was hardly anyone left to call her a child!

"It's not as tight as you think. Just a few standard Rippers. Use your wits, and there's always a way to slip past them." Though Renault spoke confidently, there was no need for stealth this time. He possessed a legitimate pass and could enter without a hitch.

With that, Renault pushed open the car door and stepped out.

"Please present your pass." The mechanical voice emanated from the Ripper, though its mouth remained shut. It seemed the designer hadn't intended for this particular Ripper to engage in conversations.

The vocal apparatus seemed like an afterthought; making a sound to signal outsiders at the Outpost sufficed, and there was no need for additional functionality. The Ripper's eyes behind its goggles were stiff and lifeless, lacking the intelligence of their own doll.

Retrieving the pass from his pocket, Renault placed it in front of the Ripper, waiting patiently as it scanned. Renault even stole a glance at the distant factories while waiting.

Directly establishing factories not far from the port, Sangvis Ferri displayed remarkable confidence. Were they not concerned about potential enemies invading from the port? Losing control of the port would leave the factories vulnerable, akin to an open courtyard for anyone to enter and exit freely.

"Scan complete. Security personnel of Ural Biotech Ltd., Renault, pass is normal. You're cleared for passage." After a brief pause, the cutter issued its mechanical voice again, its gaze fixed on Nagant revolver, who breathed a sigh of relief upon hearing the confirmation of passage.

In any case, this was Sangvis Ferri's territory. As former Griffin dolls, there was still some lingering psychological pressure.

The Prowlers and Dinergates that had been blocking the road promptly moved to the sides as soon as the Ripper finished speaking, while the remaining two Rippers cleared the roadblocks.

Evidently, these were temporary measures. Renault doubted a major corporation like SF would resort to such cheap, outdated roadblocks.

"Sangvis Ferri doesn't seem so difficult to deal with after all. Just show a pass, and you're good to go. This is too easy."

The port's loading and unloading equipment operated as usual, with handling containers being of little concern to them. They simply needed to drive the car over and wait patiently to begin their journey home.

"Exception! Exception! Unable to recognize doll identity information! Please stop immediately!"

However, things didn't go as Nagant revolver had hoped. Just as she waved friendly gestures to the Ripper under the car window, the same Ripper that had just cleared them called out again.

Its weapon poised halfway, indicating that if they didn't halt, these Ripper might indeed open fire.

Sangvis Ferri doll products lacked the human touch of IOP's. When they said they would shoot, they meant it, with no room for negotiation.

"Huh?" Renault pressed the brake pedal, puzzled. Hadn't their identity been confirmed just moments ago? Why the sudden change?

Exiting the car once more, Renault presented the pass again and received another confirmation of identity verification.

However, before getting back into the car, Renault remained vigilant. Once inside, he firmly pressed down on Nagant revolver's head and instructed the dolls in the car behind to keep a low profile.

As his car passed through without incident, the same couldn't be said for the rear. With Simonov at the wheel, the cutter still halted the car upon noticing the absence of a driver.

"Commander, they're just holding us up for now. How about you take the truck to load the goods first, and we'll wait here for your return?" Simonov leaned against the car window, somewhat resignedly calling out to Renault from the other side of the roadblock.

"Wait? What do you mean wait? The port is nearly ten kilometers away from here. What if something goes wrong and our reward goes down the drain? Just wait here. I'll try to contact Sangvis Ferri's local representative."

Hopefully, this port did indeed have someone in charge.

Contacting SF's representative through conventional means was out of the question. The phone signal had long been lost here, and Renault wondered how Peter had managed to establish contact with Sangvis and the cargo ships in the first place. But his only option now was to connect the computer to the Ripper in front of him and use it to access Sangvis Ferri's server to locate the superior in command.

However, it was also possible that the superior command was offline, in which case he would have to seek a higher-level command unit. But it was just a port; he couldn't simply stroll up to the Agent, could he? Yet, if it was that Agent, they should get along well with G36. After all, they were both maids...

Because Renault hadn't attacked any of the SF dolls, the commanding officer of these Rippers apparently hadn't considered the possibility of someone daring to stand openly next to the heavily armed SF dolls and invade Sangvis Ferri's server with just a data cable. Thus, even though Renault had the ripper assist him in holding the computer, the other SF units nearby showed no inclination to attack.

"Oh, this..." Simonov's eyes twitched as she witnessed Renault's bold actions. Indeed, She was truly their commander from another world, with courage that knew no bounds.

Before long, Renault's computer received a response, and an Elite-model SF doll with twin tails and a breathing mask appeared on the screen.

"Who are you?"
