Aether was genuinely astonished to discover that the Empress was actually her elder sister. 

He stared deeply into her vivid purple eyes, so strikingly similar to the Empress's, the resemblance now undeniable. "Ah... I see now..." he murmured.

"Then the Empress killed her own parents for power?" he asked, his voice shaky as the gravity of his previous actions hit him hard.

His mind raced back to his own reckless behaviour, 'FUCK!! I had been playing with fire!!' he screamed inwardly.

Seeing his visibly distressed expression, Celestia Nocturne giggled.

As if reading his mind, she said, "Yes, you have been playing with fire~"

Aether's lips twitched at her obvious enjoyment of his suffering.

"Anyway, why did she kill her parents?" he asked, he was really curious about her family situation.

She stared into his eyes intently, her gaze unwavering and penetrating, making him wonder if he shouldn't have asked such a sensitive question.
