Chapter 43: Nyla contact

Daphne held her breath and spied at Olivia through the hole in the door of the room she was hiding in. The dust in the room made Daphne's nose itchy.

'I should have listened to Kian.' Daphne thought. Kian had told her to call him or text him if she was coming to the pack house, then he was going to tell her if it was safe or not. Daphne didn't listen to Kian because she was angry with how he ignored her questions the other day. 

When Daphne had come into Alpha Dominic's house without anyone noticing her. Not even the servant. Daphne overhead a servant girl calling Olivia's name in the same hallway Daphne was walking in, without thinking Daphne quickly hid herself. 

From the little hole in the door, Daphne was using to watch Olivia. She looks like a proud rich human, but the maid's scared reaction helps Daphne realize that Olivia isn't human.
