Chapter 4: Chapter 23

Olivia's POV

I shuffled as Alpha Aldric's voice called out to me from outside. But... in an instant I hear the sound of footsteps moving away. I immediately went limp. Alpha Aldric didn't know I was inside and now the man was gone. My intention was to approach Alpha Aldric so I could speak clearly. But I was slow, Alpha Aldric had already left.

"My hopes are dashed!" 

I sat on the floor, looking at my children from a distance. My heart sank, my hope gone. I was going to starve in this room for a few more hours? I can't bear it, when it comes to my babies.

Third person POV

Alpha Aldric had just woken up from a good night's sleep. He was about to look for breakfast but in the middle of the castle accidentally bumped into Thea who looked agitated.

"Thea? What's wrong with you, looking for Beta?" asked Alpha Aldric with a frown on his forehead.
