Chapter 53: One Call

Jules' pov

It was hard to process what had just left Blaze's mouth, because it didn't feel like something that could actually happen.

He only joined because of me?

"Is that so hard to believe?" He mused, laughing softly and I swallowed emptily before tentatively shaking my head because I didn't want to make him angry, even though it was more than hard to believe. It's literally the last thing I'd ever expected from him.

He didn't seem like he believed me, but he clearly didn't mind because he was reaching out to tilt my face upwards once again, eyes raking over my face. I've come to notice that he was really fond of touching me, in private or public, he never bothers to hold himself back, and that realization left a buzzing heat in my stomach.

"You look like a doll… a very stunning one." He husked out, and my cheeks warmed up at once.
