Chapter 3: Figma Sea

Aaron and Tyler both took a few steps backward as they bumped into each other; they could recognize the two men who pointed guns at them. They were guards from the organization.

"Smart kids," a man in his fifties, clapped his hands as he walked towards them.

Tyler looked at Aaron, who also didn't know what to do. This was their end, "Hand over the Watch." The man was known as Jacob; he was one of the members of the organization and also the one who appointed them to do the job.

"We didn't succeed in getting the watch," Aaron lied, and Jacob chuckled.

"And he is a liar," he scoffed.

"That's true…" Tyler backed him up, and this caused Jacob to frown.

"If you don't have the watch, then why are you running away?"

"Because we were scared you would kill us for failing the mission, "answered Aaron.

"I will count to three, and if you don't hand me the watch, then say hello to the devil for me." Jacob wasn't joking, as he was prepared to kill these kids; after all, the plan was to kill them after getting the watch.

"Okay, fine, we got the watch." Aaron had no choice but to admit it.

"But if you kill us, then you won't find it," he added in an attempt to negotiate.

"It's in your pocket," Jacob scoffed, and Aaron swallowed hard. Now he understood that it was over.

"Everyone hands in the air." Some cars surrounded them, and there was a helicopter above them.

Jacob and his men all pointed their guns toward the car, and Martin walked down the car with his bodyguards.

"How did they track us?" Tyler asked in disbelief.

"My watch has a tracker," Martin said proudly.

"And I placed a tracker on you and your friend," Jacob bragged as well. Aaron and Tyler both looked at the necklaces on their necks, which were given to them as a gift by Jacob.

"All this while, you never trusted us," Aaron said with a disappointed look. If they didn't find out what the watch was capable of, then they would have handed the watch to the organization.

"F&F"—these words roll out of Martin's tongue.

"I knew only such an organization had the guts to steal my watch," he frowned, and the tension between Jacob and Martin's men grew.

Aaron signaled Tyler. This was their chance. Now that the two men were at each other, they could escape.

Tyler was nervous, but he nodded. He would rather die trying to escape than die like a coward.

They both took two steps backward with their hands in the air. They stopped in their tracks and stood there innocently.

"The watch is ours," Jacob retorted. At that moment, Aaron and his friend weren't interested in who owned the watch. As long as the watch was still with them, then the others could kill themselves if they wished.

There was a big pillar behind them. Their objective was to get to the pillar before being noticed.

They took another two steps backward, but this time they were noticed. "Run!" Aaron screamed as he rolled on the floor and stood behind the pillar. Tyler wasn't too fast and was shot in the stomach.

"Get them," Jacob yelled. Aaron took out his powder bomb from his bag and threw it at them before hurrying to Tyler.

He dragged Tyler behind the pillar as they both found their way to the road. "I can't run." Tyler clasped his stomach; he was already losing a lot of blood.

"You can; we will survive this," Aaron said as he kept dragging him, but Jacob's and Martin's men were catching up on them.

It was late at night, and the street was so quiet; they noticed some men on the street begging for food. They looked homeless and had set their beds in front of the huge Catholic church to sleep.

"Don't give up," Aaron said. He knew those men couldn't shoot because there was a police station nearby and they wouldn't want to get the cops involved.

"A truck of apples just scattered down the streets," he yelled at the top of his voice. Those hungry and homeless men, women, and kids all became alert and ran down the streets.

The street became crowded as everyone wanted to pick the apples down the street.

Aaron saw that those men had lost sight of them, so he dragged Tyler inside the church. When they walked in, they found a lady who was busy stealing church offerings. She looked at them, shocked.

"I came here first," she pouted, she looked dirty and was about eighteen years old with short black hair like a boy.

"Help us; we are being followed," Aaron pleaded. That's when she noticed the blood on Tyler, and he was struggling to breathe.

"I don't want to get involved in matters that will put me in trouble, but I won't tell anyone I saw you guys here," she said, placing the money she took from the church offering inside her bag before turning to leave.

"1 million USD; I will give that to you if you help us." Aaron blurted, and Tyler stared at him, surprised. Where was he going to get such an amount?

Aaron had succeeded in gaining the lady's attention. "You better not be joking with me, or else I will send a dagger straight into your heart after helping you," she threatened.

Tyler couldn't take the pain anymore and he passed out. "I promise you, help us," Aaron pleaded.

She sighed and hurried to the church door before peeking outside. She saw some armed men hurrying towards the church.

She closed the door and placed a stick at the door. "I better not regret this," she muttered before helping Aaron carry Tyler as she directed them to the other section of the church.

It was a small waterfall, beautifully decorated. "How will water help us?" he asked the lady with a frustrated tone. If only she knew the type of situation they were in, then she wouldn't be this calm.

They were followed by a ruthless billionaire and an organization that would cut them into pieces and serve their bodies to dogs.

"This water leads to the Figma Sea, so dive in," she explained, and Aaron nodded. This was a good idea.

The lady walked into the water, and Aaron sent Tyler to her, which she held him. Before Aaron walked in, he looked for a plastic bag beside and took out the watch before he placed it in the bag.

"Woah, that watch looks expensive... Did you just rob a billionaire?" She asked curiously.

"That watch will make you guys rich," she said happily. If they sold that watch, then she could get the money they promised her.

"More like we could use the watch to get rich," he explained before wrapping the watch in the plastic bag so water wouldn't get in it. Then he walked into the water.

"I hope you can swim," she asked, and Aaron chuckled.

He held Tyler tightly and dragged him to the deep part of the waterfall. "This better lead us where you said," Aaron warned before he jumped in with Tyler, and the lady jumped in as well.
