Chapter 37: Undecided

"Come with me then," Reaper said and picked her up. She didn't even resist because she knew it was best to be anywhere but here at the moment. She wouldn't be able to live with herself if anything happened here.

Nyx clung tightly to him until he let her down on what seemed like another bed. Feeling his hand go loose on her body, she also let him.

"Wait here for me," Reaper uttered. 

Nyx was perplexed, but she remained silent and watched him go. She didn't know where they were right, but she knew it was not the same house. Something about this place felt different and very familiar, too. 

Some minutes later, Reaper returned. Took off her clothes and then picked her up again. She wanted to ask what he was doing, but she couldn't find her voice as if something was stopping her from uttering a word. She just let him undress her and took her to the bathroom. He got into the bathtub with her, and this surprised Nyx.
