Deep down, the threats pleased her a little bit. She felt warm inside, like a child whose father was waiting outside school on a rainy day with an umbrella in hand.

Lin Qianfan had never done that for her, he had done it for Billi though. If she had grown up under the chairman's care, there was no doubt he would have done it for her.

She felt even closer to her father than ever before and the tears in her eyes increased.
