Ho Sun held his arm out to stop Tai Fong and his crazy suggestion. At that moment, the door opened and their grandfather walked in first. Tai Fong made a quick dash for the door, intending to keep out everyone that was not relevant.

While he did that, Alix retrieved Majesty and carried him firmly in her hands. If the cat continued going, it could slice off Zijia's legs with its claws. 

Since she didn't know Majesty's limits, she figured that it was better not to risk anything.

More Tai's poured into the room, more than the people Tai Fong had told Jiaan to call. Their uncles, aunts, a few of the brother's wives and even the youngest brother Tai Wong came.
