Chapter 13: Doped Dohnaseek
"My body is weird" Thought Issei while walking on the street.
The boy was touching the spot where he "dreamed" of being pierced.
It wasn't hurting or anything he just felt like touching the spot.
'There's no way it happened... right?'
"Yo, Issei, are you ok?" Ivyna was behind Issei.
'I thought Dohnaseek would be here but I guess this event was changed?' Ivyna thought so.
After she thought that both Issei and Ivyna felt some sense of danger.
Ivyna looked behind her and saw Dohnaseek but he was different than the last time she saw him.
"Issei, you better run... He's dangerous" Although Ivyna said that to Issei, she was also thinking about how to run away because her [Debilitate] skill didn't work on Dohnaseek, nor did her [Intimidation] skill work.
"Ha! I would have been foolish to fall for your tricks again. If I had known that you were just slightly stronger than humans, I wouldn't have been humiliated at that time.
"Did someone help you?" Ivyna didn't show any sign of fear or surprise, her skills at the end of the day are something that compliments herself, acting just became perfect with a skill that needs acting to work.
A light spear appeared on Dohnaseek's hands.
The light spear was different than Ivyna had seen before, it was stronger and the color was golden!
'A powerup? did his [fallen angel] stats get reversed?'

'As you can see I have an opponent immune to my powers Are there any offensive skills I can get to protect myself?'

Ivyna looked at the number of points she had saved till now, she might be able to run from Dohnaseek but knew that running would make her chances of getting more points from [DxD] impossible.
'Buy 9 and notify any skill useful the rest don't notify until this situation ends'

Dohnaseek pointed his light spear at Ivyna and threw it.
[Skill [Leap][Devil] is acquired!]
["You can move at an inhuman speed for a short period of time almost like teleportation"]
'Thanks...' Ivyna wanted to complain that the skill wasn't properly explained but she knew the system assistant didn't have that much time to do it.
After using the skill Ivyna could see the space distorting around Dohnaseek's spear like the air was trembling due to the spear's existence alone.
Ivyna Moved quickly getting Issei behind her by his head and throwing him to the side she jumped to the other side.
"So it is all you can do?" Dohnaseek was feeling good right now, he felt like he would get his revenge not only against Ivyna but on the Devils in this city.
Dohnaseek revealed his now golden wings.
'This isn't holy power and where did he get this power from?'
Dohnaseek flew above Ivyna and a new golden spear appeared in his hand.
"You were lucky to fool me. but don't worry I will make sure to correct old companions" Golden veins appeared on Dohnaseek's body.
"Heh... I'm not sure about that..." Ivyna looked at another skill she just acquired, but sadly it wasn't a skill she got with the random rolls, she copied this skill from Issei.

[Host needs to rest for all skills to be fully assimilated but due to the host's situation it will be stopped till you sleep]
Ivyna looked at her body, she didn't feel any difference except for the claws on her hands that were black.
"Tsk... I thought I would get a dragon armor... such a scam!" Although Ivyna was complaining she didn't feel like using armor at all.
but the racial trait being finally enabled gave Ivyna knowledge about her own powers.
Dohnaseek threw another golden spear at Ivyna.
The cracking sounds could be heard Ivyna dodged the spear slightly.
The spear turned a strand of her hair to a white color.
'Bastard, This power of his sucks life force and magic' Ivyna Used leaped to get far from Issei and Dohnaseek.
"Running?" Dohnaseek kept flying and throwing golden spears.
'This idiot only knows how to throw spears?' Ivyna wanted to beat Dohnaseek but she couldn't jump high enough or fly so she just waited to get an opportunity to fight back.
Ivyna stopped running after getting some distance and black flames appeared around her.
The flames weren't the normal black but more like the flames were burning the space itself.
The flames didn't feel hot or anything opposite to it, they were cold.
Ivyna's eyes turned red and an immense pressure fell onto Dohnaseek.
"Again?" Dohnaseek felt the same pressure he felt some days ago against Ivyna.
Another Ivyna appeared above Dohnaseek and kicked him.
This illusion is a fusion of her telepathy and intimidation.
She noticed she could do more than just mind-reading with her telepathy.
Although Dohnaseek moved to block he didn't feel the attack.
"Illusion?" Dohnaseek noticed that it was just an illusion which made him feel more humiliated to have fallen to her tricks so he got another spear ready to be thrown.
"I will finish this! You can't even attack me!" Dohnaseek spear got bigger.
Ivyna smiled and said, "Look behind you, it's not a 1x1 fight".
Dohnaseek didn't look behind him because he thought it would be another trick so he didn't see a someone flying in his direction.
A red flash flew through the sky fast and hit Dohnaseek.
The red flash was no other than Issei with his arm fully armored.
Dohnaseek body fell to the ground and Ivyna walked to him.
"You see... Although I may be weak I still can beat you" The black flames appeared on Ivyna's hands that were slightly blackier than the last time she saw.
but before she could burn Dohnaseek's body someone appeared and attacked Ivyna's hand but Issei pulled Ivyna's body before she could lose a limb.
The person that attacked Ivyna was no other than Freed who was hidden close by watching everything.
A man with white hair and red eyes.
Freed's sword had a golden glow around it.
Issei tried to attack Freed and Dohnaseek but he didn't have any long-range attacks so they managed to run.
"You can go out now," Ivyna said
A magic circle appeared beside her where Rias, Akeno, and Koneko came from.
"Thanks for throwing Issei to Dohnaseek," Ivyna didn't show on her face but she was slightly angry.
"What did you do to Issei?" Rias questioned because the Issei she was seeing now wasn't the same one she knew about.
"Oh... don't worry after he wakes up he will go back to his usual way, I used telepathy to control his body," Ivyna said while having Issei copy her movements which made Akeno laugh.
"So you have mind control?" Rias was suspicious of how Ivyna could use this skill, even though Issei is just a new reincarnated Devil he is still a Devil so a human that can manipulate a Devil is something more dangerous than a fallen angel with a slight raise in power.
"Quite... I can do anything under [telepathy] although limited" Ivyna wanted to keep talking but her mind was becoming foggy so she finished with:
"Bring me to my room" Before she fell unconscious, Issei who was being controlled by her fell instantly.
Rias had realized the immense power of Issei, but she had a feeling that he wasn't using his full potential. Perhaps, he was only able to use the maximum power that his body could handle at the moment. She was more curious to know how Ivyna managed to unlock Issei's hidden power, which he was completely unaware of.
'Perhaps she can do the same to me?' Rias Thought.
