Chapter 6: Aura and Mana
"Magic, Aura, although other forms of energies do exist in the world of humans, but only those two are known to exist within humans

Holding out a crystal ball, Sylas began to explain to Arthur the history of awakenings and how they work
"Once you put your hand in this ball and I inject mana into you, then only one of three things can happen"
"One, you feel the surrounding mana pour into your heart and form a somewhat shaky circle. If that's the case you have awakened your mana and become a half-step first rank or first circle mage"
"Only when you stabilize that circle would you be qualified to say you have begun walking the path of mana and become a first circle mage"
Speaking of mages, the pride written on Sylas's face could not be hidden.
In fact, even Arthur's parents had similar reactions as both of them hoped he could awaken mana and become a powerful mage
Seeing all this, Arthur didn't speak too much rather he just stood there listening to everything Sylas had to say unwilling to miss even the slightest bit of information

Thinking of the fact that the extraordinary ability which he had searched so much for in his last life, Arthur almost couldn't believe it
Not only could he not believe it but at this moment he was getting scared, wondering if one day he would wake up and see that this was all a dream
However, just as he was about to become more worried, two warm hands landed on his shoulders
"Relax little Arthur, it's normal to be nervous in this kind of situation"
"ha-ha just like your mother said, don't worry Arthur! No matter what happens you will forever remain a Thorneheart and our son!"
Hearing these words, Arthur turned to see his mom and dad giving him a warm smile
Yes! This couldn't be a dream!
Feeling the love from his new parents and recalling all the things he had experienced these five years, Arthur slowly began to regain his confidence
And just like his father said, no matter what happens he will remain a Thorneheart!
Plus, this was a whole different world, as someone who achieved the peak of humanity in his previous life a world with no magic
Arthur didn't believe that something like mana and aura could stop him from succeeding, if that was the case then he would just find or create another path
So, with this in mind, after giving his parents a reassuring nod, Arthur turned to ward Sylas with a serious face and placed his directly on the crystal ball
"I'm ready!"
And Sylas hearing this, didn't hesitate before stretching out his right arm and placing it on Arthur's chest
"Then get ready young Arthur, this might shock a bit"
Not giving Arthur a chance to react, Sylas immediately started transferring into Arthur which in turn reacted with the crystal ball
*Boom! *
Feeling the mana go into his body, followed by what seemed like his mind exploding, Arthur seemed to have lost control of all his senses
Not only that, but by the time he came back to his senses Arthur realized he was floating in a dark empty space
"Where am I? and why does this look like the place I went to right after I was killed by Su Ming?"
Feeling unable to see anything and feeling the loss of direction, a strong feeling of Déjà vu suddenly hit him.
