Chapter 7: Pokémon Chapter: 7 Fear Of Virdian Forest
It's been a day since Troy had what seemed to be a nightmare of Viridian Forest, and it seemed like weedle has also somehow experienced it. Which made Troy worried if this would affect Weedles battles with other Pokémon.
Exiting the hotel Troy had spent all his money on to stay the night, Troy had no choice but to go to Viridian Forest, even though he still felt scared to even step foot in there after what he had experienced.
Walking up to the entrance of the forest, Troy hesitated to even step in it, but knowing he didn't really have much of a choice, he went to cross the line. Just as he was about to enter, the weedle had come out of its pokeball and stayed behind the entrance of the forest, showing that it was still shaking in fear of entering.
Troy, seeing this, went up to the weedle and told it, "I know Bud, you're scared after seeing what I had probably also seen with the Pinsirs, but if we ever want to stop being afraid, we need to go in and get stronger." Weedle, hearing this, looked up at Troy to see him shaking in fear as well.
Seeing this weedle, it agreed with what Troy said and crawled up on Troy's shoulder, ready to protect its trainer. "Alright, Bud, how about we stick to the main road of Viridian Forest and train as much as we can while also catching strong Pokémon?" Weedle agreed to what Troy had to say, so they got their courage up and headed to the main road.
Walking in Viridian Forest Troy had started to see caterpies, weedles, pidgey, oddish, and different other types of Pokémon on the outside of the forest. As Troy was looking around, he could see his eyes work on wild Pokémon, seeing their stats and auras, but none of them really had an aura higher than red.
Troy was trying to look for Pokémon with the auras silver and gold, and Troy thought that there were higher-colored auras. Which is stronger than gold than what he saw in his dream or visions, whatever it could have been?
As Troy was walking, he saw a string shot coming his way. He stepped to the right and managed to dodge it. Trying to find where the shot had come from, Troy looked to his left to find three weedles and a kakuna ready to initiate battle. Troy saw this weedle choosing to battle, with weedle jumping off Troy's shoulder and ready to battle.
The weedles, seeing what they were up against, started to use a string shot at the weedle. Troy quickly gave it the command to dodge, which was faster than the string shot coming at it. They were quickly told to use the electroweb to catch them all together. After catching the three weedles in the web, they started to take damage and slowed them down, giving the weedle the chance to use another move. Troy quickly told the weedle to use a poison sting on the trapped weedles, finishing them off pretty fast, leaving Kakuna as the last one left.
Just as the weedle was going to attack Kakuna, Kakuna started to glow. Seeing this, Troy was waiting for Kakuna to evolve, as if it were natural for all humans and Pokémon to wait for a Pokémon to evolve, like it was a rule all must follow.
Once Kakuna had evolved into beedrill, Troy quickly told weedle to be prepared for a tough battle. Just as Troy was about to tell weedle to attack, he quickly saw that beedrill was faster than he thought and told weedle to dodge.
As the battle was going on, Troy was starting to get used to beedrills speed, though not without weedle taking damage from a few poison stings. Weedle dodging one more time. Troy quickly told Tweedle to use a string shot to slow it down, and with Tweedle practicing a string shot, it was a lot sturdier to break out of it. After being caught by the string shot, Troy told weedle to finish beedrill off with a poison sting.
The battle is now over. Troy quickly went up to weedle to tell him he did a good job weedle, seeing that it beat 3 weedles and 1 beedrill crawled up to Troy, with Troy picking weedle up. Weedle stared to glow as it looked like it was going to evolve after a few seconds had passed. Troy was now holding a kakuna. "Good job, Bud. You finally evolved. Now you're just another step closer to becoming one of the strongest beedrills in the region."
"Well, it's getting late how about we set up camp near the outskirts so we can escape if we have to, Troy setting up the sleeping bag he had, also gave weedle some oddish leaves he still had on him. Returning weedle back to the pokeball and Troy made sure it was safe before going to sleep.
As Troy was asleep, he was dreaming again about the egg walking up to it the egg began to shake as it was soon to hatch, just as he was about to touch it, he suddenly woke up to hear pidgey flapping their wing waking Troy up. "Huh that dream again I wonder what it's about?"
