Chapter 79: Encountering Blackbeard
Soon, Merry started her journey toward Jaya Island. Because they didn't try to salvage the ship underwater, they didn't get in contact with the other salvager.
Instead, they reached Jaya Island little ahead of time.
"So, what should we do now?" Nami turned her head at Luffy.
Not to her surprise, Luffy simply scratched his head.
Finally, Nami sighed and turned her head at Zack.
"Nami, Luffy, Zoro, Ussop and I will go into the bar and look for any information along with supplies we can. On the other hand, Miss Archeologist, you need to show your expertise here to find any clue about Sky Island." Zack explained and simply told the plan and they basically nodded to his plan.
"So, what about us?" Chopper and vivi raised his hand and asked.
"Just stay in the ship and take care of it while continuing your training."
Zack simply gave them the task and finally was about to leave with Nami, Ussop, Luffy, and Zoro.
Just at this time, Usopp suddenly drew his slingshot.
Bang Bang Bang…
Several shots were fired in a row.
"The other side has some snipers, and they are very powerful!"
Usopp changed his timid image and looked extremely serious.
"You're so motivated today, Usopp." Zoro patted Usopp, and with this shot, the man fell directly to the ground, "I didn't try hard…"
"Bastard! I haven't tried my best, my shoulders are broken, I can't fight anymore, I'll leave it to you." Usopp shouted with snot and tears. It looks as miserable as it can looks.
"Zoro, are you using too much strength?" Luffy took Usopp's word for it right away.
"Idiot! Do you believe what Usopp says?"
Zack shook his head, "Do you want me to throw you over, or do you come with us?"
"My shoulder suddenly seems to be healed, let's go with you." Usopp was startled and quickly stood up.
"Bastard! I'll cut you sooner or later!"
Zoro glanced at Usopp angrily, and dared to touch him
"Since the other party has discovered us, let's respond, Usopp" Zack said.
"Understood."
The frightened look on Usopp's face disappeared instantly as if he had become another person.
Raise your hand in five shots!
"Dare to fight with me, Sogeking Usopp!"

"What a strong sniper!"
Van Oka was surprised and fired quickly to fend off Usopp's bullet. You need to know that, his gun can shoot so far after it has been specially modified. Unexpectedly, and suddenly a sniper like him appeared now.
"What's wrong?" Blackbeard frowned.
"I missed it. There are strong snipers within these groups of pirates, and they have come over now." Van Oka said immediately.
"You mean they came after us?" Blackbeard looked into the distance, unfortunately, he didn't have the vision of Van Oka.
"It should be, the sniper fired five shots at me just now." Van Oka said.
"It's getting more and more interesting. Poison Q, hurry up and take away all the medical books here that we looted from the Drum Islands. Though we weren't able to attain that fruit, we made a fortune with those books. Keep them safe." Blackbeard chuckled.
"Then we'll go find the kids to play with."
"till then let's play low!"
Meanwhile, at Mock Town, Jesus Burgess is seen challenging a man to a fight and he defeats his opponent. One of the onlookers comments to him that the man he defeated is one of Roshio's men, judging by the mark on his headband. Meanwhile, at the bar, two men are discussing how Roshio was defeated, with the false excuse that he cheated, and one of them recognizes the man who had defeated Roshio to be Bellamy.
Those ordinary pirates are even less the opponents of the Blackbeard Pirates.
The Blackbeard Pirates swaggered into the palace.

With Straw hats,
The Straw Hats finally arrive at Mock Town. Four of them left the ship and Nami accompanied them after considering that they would cause trouble which would get them kicked out of the town. Such a turn of events would disrupt their information gathering for the Sky Island wouldn't let any problem since Robin is in charge of it. Zack didn't intervene with it. To avoid that, she made them promise that they would not start a fight with anyone though Zack promised with his fingers crossed behind his back. While on their way, Doc Q fell in their path and asked for assistance in getting up. Luffy and Zoro got him on his horse, Stronger. He thanked them saying he was born with a weak body and brought out a basket of apples and asked them to choose one. Zoro indicated that it was suspicious. However, Luffy went ahead and helped himself to one apple. Shortly after Luffy took a bite of the apple, an explosion erupted nearby because some people had eaten apples with explosives. Doc Q then stated that Luffy is a lucky man for choosing the apple that is a dud. Zack believed Luffy's luck so he didn't interfere.
They soon went past Jesus Burgess who was growling, standing on the roof of a building. The people comment that he's got many victims without a bounty on his head and it is best to stay away from the wrestling champion. On hearing this, unlike in Cannon, Luffy and Zoro didn't become competitive and Nami needed to squash the competitive fuel in them to avoid a fight. With observation haki, they could sense that Burgess is not as he seems. Something is mysterious with him.
They soon reach Tropical Hotel intending to get supplies and some info. However, Spector, the hotel manager, refuses them because the Bellamy Party has rented the entire place and no other customers are allowed. This reveals Spector's fear of Bellamy.
Sarquiss, the first mate of Bellamy, returns to the hotel, and upon seeing Luffy, Zoro, and Nami, he comments that they are shabby-looking kids. At this comment, Zack do thinks that they need to get some better clothes.
"Hey! Should I punch him? My palm is itching" asks Luffy if he should kick Sarquiss's butt.
"No need to waste your energy on weaklings like him. We will only trouble the Hotel manager."
Sarquiss throws some money at them saying they should use that to buy themselves some clothes. Zack and the company pretty much ignored him and went by. Sarquiss gritted his teeth and was about to attack but a look from Zoro left him in sweat, his legs shaking.
They reach a restaurant and Nami is complaining about the town when the bartender tells her that since many rich pirates come to Mock Town to unload their wealth, brawls and murder occur frequently. Upon reaching there, Zack found someone interesting. He was thinking hard at that moment so he ignored everything.
While conversing with Nami, Luffy, and Blackbeard comment on the cherry pie and the drink like in cannon. They have opposite opinions on the food and they are close to starting a fight because of this. Blackbeard asks if Luffy is a pirate and Luffy replies that he is. He then asks for Luffy's bounty and when he learns that it is B30,000,000 he disbelieves it. He left the bar somewhat disappointed. Before coming to the bar, Zack asked Luffy and others to not give any info about them, their bounty, and the money they have in their treasury. Say a made of information even if they had to lie as there may be spies of world government, marines and pirates big shot of new worlds.
Soon Bellamy and his crew come into the store and Bellamy inquires if this is Straw Hat Luffy with the B30,000,000 bounty. He buys Luffy a drink which Luffy accepts saying Bellamy is a good guy. While Luffy is having his drink, Bellamy smashes Luffy's head into the bar table. Only then, did Zack finally wake up from his thoughts and realize that the person he was thinking about had already disappeared.
"Zoro, whatever you do, do not fight them!"
Only then, he heard Luffy saying his famous line. He turned his head and saw Bellamy standing in front of Luffy and giving his trash talk.
Because of Luffy's order, Zoro didn't do anything.
But, Zack wasn't the same. He walks behind Bellamy and puts his hand on his shoulder.
"Hey!"
"Who?"
Bellamy shouted out loud as he turned around.
Zack walks off and rips out Bellamy's face with his bare hand similar to how Yujiro Hanma rips off Ryu Kaioh.
A bloody silent scream rang inside the bar which silenced the entire bar.
"Zack!" Luffy shouted when he saw Zack rip off Bellamy's face.
Zoro also frowned.
Ussop was terrified
Zack knew that Luffy was angry because of disobeying the captain. He sighed and said.
"Luffy, I know that fighting back against trash like him is an insult to us. But, you have to understand two things first."
"First, the majesty of Straw Hat Pirates can't be destroyed by trash no matter how much trash that guy might be."
"Second, this guy is not a bandit but a pirate of a certain pirate group with associating a warlord who is worse than Crocodile. Since another pirate is attacking my captain, how can I not fight back?"
Hearing his words, Luffy suddenly realized something.
"So, that's how it is. He is a pirate. I am a pirate. Since he wants to fight us, then we should beat him."
Zoro on the side almost fell on the ground. He jumped on Luffy and slapped his head.
"Idiot, now you realize that he is a pirate."
"Sorry, Zoro! I thought about the wrong thing."
"You bastard!"
Suddenly, Bellamy who just realized that his face is ripped off instantly burst out. His legs turned into spring as he tried to jump.
But against someone with Observation Haki, his action was pretty useless.
Zack grabbed him by his head and stopped him from doing anything.
He moved his hand to the side as he realized something and looked at Luffy.
"Luffy, if we forget about the identity of marines or pirates for a moment. Would you just be like your grandfather?"
Luffy didn't know why Zack asked this question. But, when he thought about it, he simply got one answer.
Yes!
If he hadn't become a pirate, he would be a marine just like his grandfather. So, even if the identity of the marine and pirates are removed, he would just be like his grandfather.
"Good!"
Crack!
Zack's hand suddenly turned black as he used immense force to crush Bellamy's skull.
He turned his head at Nami and said.
"Call Smoker and tell him that Straw Hats have dealt with all the pirates in Jaya Island except for one group. Ask him to come here and capture them!"
"Zack, what are you doing?" Not to mention Luffy, even Zoro couldn't understand Zack's actions.
After all, in his eyes, Zack shouldn't waste his time dealing with these people.
"Actually, Luffy, if weren't the fact that the Marines are simply dogs, I would've joined the Marines instead of becoming a Pirate."
"I don't hate pirates even if they are simply scums like Crocodile. Because pirates with dreams are still pirates just like us."
"But, pirates with no dreams are simply leeches sucking off the blood of people in the background. Because they are so small, they are often neglected by most people but they are the ones who suck the blood most."
"Just like Arlong"
When he said that, a bolt of lightning struck Nami's mind. She suddenly remembered her past with Arlong who terrorized her town for ten years.
Hatred flashed in her eyes as she clenched her fist.
"Sometimes I really don't understand you, Zack."
Luffy slowly lowered his head as he clutched his straw hat for a moment. Zoro didn't make any move as he watched his captain.
On the other hand, Zack was already kicking and punching the other pirates to the ground.
"Even though I don't understand you, I will still help you. Because you are my vice-captain."
Luffy raised his head with a bright smile. Next to him, Zoro also raised his swords with a smile, then their attention shifted toward those pirates.
