Chapter 292: Her last wish

When the vampire kicked Jackson's hand away, all the remaining energy he had slowly slipped away from him. He closed his eyes, but his consciousness remained. He knew right now, he didn't have a heart. It was taken out of his body. 

However, even he was surprised that he was still conscious. 

Why?

The answer that came to his mind almost made him laugh. 

'What a silly thought,' he told himself. 

Just now, he assumed the reason he was still conscious despite not having a heart was because he had always given his heart to someone. 

'La … Filomena…' he whispered in his heart and all the good memories flashed in his mind.
