Chapter 5: magical practice
Waking up from the beautiful dream I was having in the morning I remembered what had happened in such a short time.
'First the Hogwarts letter, meet McGonagall, get to driagon alley
A rare wand that is possibly a warning for the future, and Hermione, damn I'm glad I met her.'
Yes, without a doubt, too many things in such a short time, especially because I have to meet with her to practice magic. I only have a few months to go to Howards, but with Hermione's help it will be easier.
'The good thing that her birthday was after entering Howards makes her study the basic course books more time'
So getting out of bed I went out and exercised for a few hours,
I took a bath and changed into something comfortable so I could go study with her, hiding the wand inside the black jacket I put on, I ate something basic and left to arrive at 12
I arrived, knocked on the door and Hermione, who was wearing jeans and a white shirt, opened the door. "Hello, Henry, come in, you arrived earlier than I expected."
"Yes, well the more time we have to study the better for us"
"Right, come let's go to my room, we can study whatever we want."
"Well, and good morning, Mrs. and Mr. Granger, I'm sorry for the interruption," I mentioned, realizing their presence in the room.
"Good luck with your studies guys" they mentioned while reading the newspaper and a dental magazine
Going up the stairs to Hermione's room
It had a shelf with books although some were replaced with magical books although they were the most basic ones, nothing older than second year and especially history and some children's books about the legends of Harry Potter
"Wow, Hermione, you shined with all these books, you are undoubtedly incredible," I mentioned, very surprised because although I knew that she studied a lot before going to Howards, it was a surprise.
"Thank you Henry but come sit down we have too much to study, and little time to catch up with those who were born in the magical world, they are more advanced than us due to many years of living with magic since they were babies."

"Well, it's time to start studying magic. We have from today, June 25th until September 1st, so about 3 months or so."
"Well, let's start with Miranda Goshawk's Spells book, it's about basic theory, wand movements and basic spells, also the potions and herbology books will be theory, "Transformations are very dangerous without supervision and guardianship so we will only focus on theory until we are at Howards and history so as not to be lost when we enter the magical world" he said
"Okay, Professor Hermione, I'm in your care. Don't worry, I learn quickly." I said as seriously as I could, holding back my laughter.
"I hope so, student, Henry. I don't teach someone who can't learn quickly," he said, imitating McGonagall's voice with a small smile.
"Haha well it's time to get serious hermione" I said taking out my wand while she took out books that we would use and her wand
"Well, first we read the theory then the practice"
This is how time passed while we were in a comfortable silence reading the book sitting next to each other after reading it three times to be sure we started with the simplest spell
"Lumos" I said while moving my wand with the movement and saying the name of the spell and imagining a light, my wand lit up.
"Haha, well, Hermione, I knew you were a good teacher. It's my first attempt and it turned out, even if it's basic magic," I mentioned excitedly.
"I certainly am, but it's time to practice more," he said proudly.
This is how the days went by with me, in addition to studying magic with Hermione, exercising in the mornings, a practice that I started when I was 6 years old, although at that time they were only basic exercises.
Doing a morning jog I thought 'Well, there is only one month left until I go to Aden 9¾, I have learned the first year spells and some of the daily spells to take care of the house, that should be enough for now, but I must enter the room to come and go so I can practice more dangerous magic like bombard and check if I can read books from the prohibited section inside step'
So, returning to my house, taking a bath and going to Hermione, 'heck, at this rate, it would be better if they gave me a key so I can get in easily.'
Knocking, Hermione's mother opened the door for me.
"Henry come in Hermione is in her room I was already waiting for you" I mention with a slight smile accustomed to my recent visits
""Thank you Mrs. Granger," I mentioned in passing as I went up to the room and quickly entered
There was Hermione with a book in her hand in a book fort
"It certainly surprises me how many books you can read, Hermione," I said, admiring the castle of books.
"It's not so surprising in the book that a story about Howards mentions that it has the largest bookstore in the world, which means that we can read thousands of books that we couldn't before."
"Well you have a point but I'm always surprised by your intellect" I mentioned as I sat down next to her and started reading with her.
There was a comfortable silence as we read until I can feel a head resting on my shoulder.
When I noticed she was asleep with the book on her lap.
'Wow, this is strange, I guess practicing and studying in such a way made him more tired than we expected'
Taking the book from his hands I closed it and placed it aside while I also began to close my eyes and listened to his breathing 'it's not bad to rest this way' was the only thing I thought.
Which lasted a few hours until she got up realizing that she was leaning on my shoulder and I was on her head, causing her to get up.
"Ugh, that was the best rest I've had in years," I mentioned, starting to stretch.
"Henry we don't practice today tomorrow we will have to practice twice as much so as not to fall behind compared to the other students" she said nervously opening the book again and reading again
"I will gladly be reading with you as many books as you want hermione" Mention thinking ahead
And so we quickly arrive at September 1st
