Chapter 54: Chapter 54 : Resurrection!!

In the depths of the arena, Natsu engaged in a fierce battle, confronting Yuka and pressing him back to the brink of defeat.

"Is this the Fire Dragon Slayer of Fairy Tail? What a formidable opponent," remarked Yuka with a grave expression as he observed Natsu's fiery prowess.

"Are all Fairy Tail wizards this powerful?"

Natsu's grin widened with excitement. "You guys aren't too shabby yourselves!"

He had relished the challenge they presented; all three enemies displayed remarkable strength. One wielded formidable wave magic capable of neutralizing his own spells, another possessed exceptional physical resilience, while the third employed manipulation magic, controlling massive stone constructs. Determining the victor would undoubtedly require more time.

"Let's keep this party going!"

Suddenly, a thunderous crash shattered the ceiling, and a colossal palm descended amidst them, enveloping the area in a cloud of dust.

"What in the world?!"

As the dust settled, a deep imprint marked the ground, and within it lay a motionless figure.

"Lord Lyon!"

Sherry's horrified cry echoed through the chamber upon witnessing Lyon's fallen form.

Yuka and Toby exchanged alarmed glances. Lyon, their strongest ally, lay defeated far too swiftly.

Before they could react, a figure hurtled from above, crashing down with tremendous force, fracturing the ground beneath.

"You dare harm Lord Lyon! You'll pay with your life!" Sherry screamed, her eyes wild with fury as she unleashed her magic. A towering stone giant materialized, launching a ferocious punch towards Kyros.

With a casual gesture, Kyros intercepted the attack.

The ground quaked as Kyros effortlessly caught the stone giant's fist, his gaze narrowing.

The aura of kingship radiated from him, overwhelming the trio of Yuka.

Their cries filled the air as they were sent flying by the sheer force of Kyros's Conqueror's Haki.

"Boom—!!"

The impact of the collision sent three bodies crashing into the wall, blood trickling from the corners of their mouths as they succumbed to their injuries, unable to continue the fight.

"Hey! Kyros! These three are mine! You took them all out at once, what am I supposed to do?" Natsu expressed his dissatisfaction.

"Would you prefer to face me instead?" Kyros challenged.

Natsu's eyes gleamed. "Alright!"

"Bring it on!"

"Boom!!!"

Natsu found himself embedded in the cave wall, his legs still twitching.

Happy couldn't help but cover his eyes with both hands. It was painful to remember. Just yesterday, he had been defeated by Kyros, yet today, he dared to provoke him again.

After a while, Lucy helped Gray down.

Surveying the group, Gray inquired, "Who are you? And why did you help Lyon revive Deliora?"

Realizing the situation had calmed, the trio of Yuka cooperated and honestly disclosed their origins.

Similar to Gray, these individuals had lost family members and loved ones to Deliora, harboring deep-seated hatred towards him.

Though Deliora was currently sealed, the seal did not equate to his demise. As long as Deliora remained alive, so too did the vendetta burning within their hearts.

Upon learning of Lyon's intention to unseal Deliora and permanently eradicate him, they willingly joined forces with Lyon. For three years, they gathered moon drops on Galuna Island every night, with the singular goal of annihilating Deliora once and for all.

Listening to their account, Natsu and the others fell silent.

In a sense, their actions were justifiable; they were driven by their own sense of justice.

"I have no right to condemn you," Gray admitted, reflecting on his own impulsive confrontation with Deliora that had led to Lord Ur's death.

"But Deliora is formidable, and Lyon stands no chance against him. If Deliora is resurrected, it will spell disaster."

The room fell into contemplative silence.

Their shared experience of loss at the hands of Deliora fueled their hatred, yet their blind faith in Lyon convinced them that he could triumph over Deliora. Once the wheel of vengeance was set in motion, it seemed unstoppable.

Kyros was just about to mention that even Lyon's attempt at resurrection wouldn't be a big deal.

Suddenly, "Boom!"

The entire ruins began to shake.

"What's happening?!" Lucy's expression shifted.

"Is the ruins collapsing?!"

They were now underground. If the ruins collapsed, the entire structure would press down on them. This was the most dangerous scenario.

"Look!!" Happy seemed to notice something and pointed at the frozen Deliora.

Though the purple moonlight wasn't as intense as before, it still filtered through the gaps, illuminating Deliora.

This faint moonlight, like the last snowflake weighing down a branch, caused the ice encasing Deliora to begin melting.

"Ice... is melting!!"

"Hoo ho ho ho!"

A chilling laughter echoed throughout the ruins.

"This voice... I can't forget..." Gray's body trembled incessantly. His entire family was killed when he was a child, and now, memories of that trauma resurfaced.

"Deliora... resurrected!!"
